Tamil Nadu MRB Admit Card 2016 for Assistant Surgeon Exam

Medical Services Recruitment Board of Tamilnadu state has published a recruitment notification on 30th September by inviting online application from interested applicants for 1800 available posts of Assistant Surgeon, Medical Officer. There will be an undergraduate level exam to be taken as part of the selection process. The test will be held on 20th November from 10am to 12:30 am. Online registration will continue till 17th October and after the registration ends, MRB will issue TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Admit Card 2016 on the website: www.mrb.tn.gov.in.

MRB Assistant Surgeon 2016 Syllabus

The exam will be objective type and there will be 200 questions on Medical Sciences. Questions will be set in English. Duration of the test is 2hours and 30 minutes. The questions will be set in the standard of Undergraduate level (M.B.B.S) standard. MRB Assistant Surgeon Cut off Mark is 35 for General category and 30 marks for SC/ST. There will be no oral interview. Shortlisted candidates will be asked for document verification.

MRB Assistant Surgeon Document Verification

The shortlisted applicants will have to submit necessary documents such as birth certificate, character and conduct certificate, community certificate, caste certificate and no objection certificate if any candidate is involved in any organization.

Successful candidates must join duty within 30 days of order of appointment. They will have to undergo probation period in which they will need to perform to a satisfactory level. They might get terminated from allocated post if their performance is not up to the mark.
